Claire's happy hounds

 

• Keep your dog on a lead at all times unless told otherwise by an Instructor.

• No choke chains, half check, slip leads, prong or electric collars are permitted.

• Claire's Happy Hounds is a force free trainer, no harsh handling or intimidating behaviour will be tolerated, anyone seen doing this will be asked to stop, if it continues they will be asked to leave.

• Dogs must be on a collar and/or non restrictive harness (no julius k9 harnesses)

• Do not let your dog foul in the training area if possible, if they do please wash it off the equipment

• All dog mess must be cleaned up and taken with you.

• Do not bring your dog to classes or 121s if they are unwell or having had vomiting or diarrhoea within 48 hours preceding your session.

• If your dog has had surgery or stitches they must be cleared by a vet at their post surgery check up before returning to training.

• If I feel your dog is not well enough to train or do certain exercises I will send you home or alter the exercise accordingly, my decision is final.

• Small children must stay in the vehicles or near to their parents and NOT leave the training area.

• Children are not to climb on the equipment

• Children are to remain with their parents and not distract or interferer with other dogs

• All handlers must be 16 or over.

• All training is done at your own risk. Although every effort is made to ensure no accidents take place, there is always an element of risk involved when dealing with dogs.

• Please ensure that you are fit enough to do certain amounts of fast walking and agility. If at any time you feel that the training is too heavy, drop out.

• By way of risk assessment, if the weather conditions are not favourable, we advise that you may stop at any time during a training session, and that if you continue it is at your own risk.

• If class is cancelled due to bad weather (snow, severe cold or heat etc) an alternative class will be offered

• Claire's Happy Hounds and its employees will not be held liable for any injury caused by any means, by it or any other member of the school.

• Please do not use any of the equipment (including the agility equipment) unsupervised

• No refunds are offered on courses

• If cancelling or rescheduling a 121 or homevisit this must be done 48 hours before or it is still chargable.

• All parking is done at your own risk.

• Claire's Happy Hounds and its employees will not be held liable for any damage to a vehicle caused by any means, by it or any other member of the school.

• The speed on the farm is 15MPH, anyone seen to be exceeding this multiple times maybe asked to leave the course (no refunds will be given)

• If Covid 19 or any other disease or illness causes a lockdown courses and classes will continue as online sessions and refunds will not be offered.
